Glenn Ivie

A native Floridian, Glenn attended the University of Florida and graduated on the dean’s list in Advertising Design and was an award winning art director in New Orleans, Tampa and Jacksonville. He continued his love of painting during those years, winning the Distinguished Artist award from the Jacksonville Watercolor Society. He received favorable reviews from The Wall Street Journal for his digital painting business and was commissioned by NBC Sports to paint the former US Open champions of Pebble Beach. His return to creating original oil and acrylic paintings has been an evolutionary exploration of subject matter, color palettes, brushstrokes and painting styles that vary in degrees of realism. He has slowly started to favor landscapes and nature subjects as he continues to hone his style. Glenn paints in his studio in St. John’s Florida with Trish, his wife of 50 years.
