This might sound obvious, right? Well, there's plenty of shops on Etsy that are selling commission "paintings" that are nothing more than your photo - digitally filtered and printed onto a canvas, and perhaps topped over with a bit of transparent gel "paint" so it looks and feels like a real painting.

Don't get me wrong - if that's what you want, no problem! I just want to make it clear that is NOT what I do here.
