A sopranos themed painting of an idea I had in my head for a while so I tried getting it out onto canvas. The idea I had was to show that in Tony's mind the ducks had left and ultimately led to his mental downfall but in a way he understands that everything is temporary and especially in the mobster life that people come and go (get whacked) but he struggles to sleep at night with the unrest so sometimes he goes to the pool to relax. Unbeknownst to him the ducks are just below smoking big cubans and playing poker. 62cm x 32cm oil on canvas, 2025
